Flow Architecture Studio is providing architectural services for the phased modernization and expansion of an existing hospital imaging department. The project includes the replacement of an existing CT scanner, upgrade of an MRI system, and addition of a new bone density (DEXA) imaging suite within occupied hospital space.
The design strategically repurposes existing rooms to accommodate new imaging technologies while maintaining ongoing hospital operations and minimizing disruption to patients and staff. The scope includes architectural modifications, coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades, interior finish improvements, and integration of specialized equipment requirements.
The project is being developed in multiple phases to support continuous clinical operations while enhancing the hospital's diagnostic imaging capabilities. Upon completion, the renovated department will provide improved access to advanced imaging services without requiring an expansion of the existing facility footprint.

This 2,500-square-foot renovation transforms existing patient rooms into four new private Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) rooms, expanding the hospital's existing NICU department. Designed to support both clinical care and family-centered healing, each room provides a dedicated infant care area along with comfortable space for families whose loved ones require extended stays.
The project will be completed in a single phase to minimize disruption to ongoing hospital operations. As a licensed healthcare facility renovation, the project will undergo review and approval by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
